Uniformed woman attacked a young woman for recording her during a police procedure \u2013 Colprensa credit<\/span><\/p>\n A video went viral on social networks in which a police officer patrolling the CAI Rinc\u00f3n, located in the town of Suba, physically attacked a man who was trying to record a video in which she appeared. After the beatings, the victim assured that he was not photographing her, but rather that he was recording the search.<\/span><\/p>\n The young man’s words increased the fury of the officer who tried to intimidate him, repeatedly threatening to hit him again if he did not comply with her directive to put away the phone and stop recording.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI didn’t record myself, take photos, or anything like that. Don’t be photographing me (…) go and take them with your mother,<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0not with me\u201d, the officer indicated to the young man insistently.<\/span><\/p>\n By the way, the uniformed officer requested the identity document to check the judicial records of the man and his companions. Thus, the approximately 20-year-old young man did not hand over his identification and ignored the warnings, since he did not stop the video.<\/span><\/p>\n He even alleged that the police officers’ actions were an abuse and went against the law:\u00a0<\/span>\u201cDon’t touch me, not like that, this is not like that, that goes for social networks\u201d, he mentioned while trying to get away from the officers.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n To record the attack of which he was a victim, the young man recorded the faces of the two police officers, whom he accused of not following the regular channel established by law. Immediately, the uniformed officer did not hesitate to answer: \u201cI don’t give a damn, give me your identification document\u201d and then cut the video by taking away your cell phone.<\/span><\/p>\n After the events became known, videos were spread on social networks in which the attacked young man showed how his face had looked after the woman’s beatings. In the clip you can see the victim’s cheekbone swollen due to the attack.<\/span><\/p>\n The abuse of the Bogot\u00e1 Metropolitan Police official caused a wave of divided opinions.
