Savannah Guthrie<\/strong>\u00a0is pleading for\u00a0Nancy Guthrie<\/strong>\u2018s return.<\/p>\n Nearly one month after the\u00a0Today\u00a0<\/em>co-host\u2019s 84-year-old mother\u00a0was abducted from her Tucson, Ariz., home, the journalist reflected on the reality of the situation while urging the captors to bring Nancy home.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is day 24 since our mom was taken in the dark of night from her bed, and every hour and minute and second and every long night has been agony since then,\u201d Savannah\u00a0said in her Feb. 24 Instagram video, \u201cof worrying about her and fearing for her and aching for her and most of all, just missing her.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe still believe in a miracle,\u201d she continued. \u201cWe still believe that she can come home. Hope against hope. As my sister says, we are blowing on the embers of hope.\u201d<\/p>\n However, they understand that given their mother\u2019s health struggles, which require life-sustaining medications, she may no longer be alive.<\/p>\n \u201cWe also know that she may be lost, she may already be gone,\u201d she noted. \u201cShe may have already gone home to the Lord that she loves and is dancing in heaven with her mom and her dad and with her beloved brother\u00a0Pierce<\/strong>\u00a0and with our daddy.\u201d<\/p>\n The 54-year-old noted that if Nancy\u2014who was taken from her home Jan. 31\u2014is no longer alive, she and her siblings\u00a0Annie Guthrie<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Camron Guthrie<\/strong>\u00a0will \u201caccept\u201d the news. However, she emphasized that they need to know where their mom is.<\/p>\n \u201cFor that reason, we are offering a family reward of up to $1 million for any information that leads us to her recovery,\u201d Savannah said. \u201cSomeone out there knows something that can bring\u00a0her home. Somebody knows and we are begging you to please come forward now.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cLet this be your sign to please come forward, tell what you know and help us bring our beloved mom home,\u201d she continued, \u201cso we can either celebrate a glorious, miraculous homecoming or celebrate the beautiful, brave and courageous and noble life that she has lived. Please be the light in the dark.\u201d<\/p>\n Along with pleading to Nancy\u2019s captors, the anchor added that after receiving the outpouring of support from the public and media, their family would be donating $500,000 to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.<\/p>\n \u201cWe also know that we are not alone in our loss.
